A Word About Japan

Both my sister and I have spent time living in Japan and just wanted to take a minute to say how much our hearts go out to our friends and their families as they struggle through the aftermath of the earthquake/tsunami that hit last week. We'd also like to encourage everyone to make a donation to help the relief efforts. The Red Cross has been doing a lot in the wake of  this disaster. You can make donations by visiting their website redcross.org, calling 1-800-RED-CROSS, or by texting REDCROSS to 90999 which allows you to make a $10 donation that is automatically added to your phone bill. Every little bit helps and I'm sure that there will be a lot of work to be done before all is said and done. Thank you.

Hello All

Well this is officially my first time blogging. Not really sure how it works or who reads it but lots of people do it, so I can too. This blog was really set up by my sister as a means for me to showcase my artwork. Later on we will even have posts for pieces that are for sale. Right now I am focusing on painting glasses like wine glasses and coffee mugs. Along with postings about my artwork, I want people to get to know me. I am waiting for different color paints so I can paint some glasses but I will try and post pictures as soon as I can. Check back and welcome!
